My Journey
After landing in Los Angeles and needing a job to pay bills but not finding something where I was going to have to live with 4 people to afford rent I fell into commercial real estate. That career path took me from LA to Seattle to the Bay Area and gave me so much insight into customer service, running a business and creating a customer experience.
At the same time I felt the urge to create something that was just my own and in 2011 I launched Kristen Beccia Photography. At first like most I dabbled in all things from weddings to pets. In 2015 I started to find my niche and focused on family photography and then in 2018 after moving to Texas I honed in on posed newborn photography and in 2022 I signed a lease for a commercial space and moved out of my home studio.
In late 2023 our family knew we needed to get out of Texas, it just didn't feel like home and started our search. In December we found our lot here in Colorado and set in motion to move by that summer.

On July 13 we pulled out of Texas driveway for the last time and made the three day trek to Parker. Now that we are settled into our new home I've done soul searching on what is next. I have realized that although I love ALL the amazing families I have met over the years that my time as primarily a family photographer is done.
I am settling into my new found role as a creative with Harvest Moon Creative and as the founder of the No Hustle Sisterhood. I am here as a mentor and educator for any photographer who feels like their journey has diverted from what they originally intended it to look like. The No Hustle Sisterhood isn't about working around the clock just so you feel like you have to "keep up" or "stay relevant" it is about working intentionally towards your business goals AND your personal life goals.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
What is the No Hustle Sisterhood?
-
It is the coming together of female photographers who want to balance their personal life with their business life. It isn't about putting in the hard work but rather about putting in the hard work with intention. There will be workshops on goal setting, weekly office hours to connect, a place where you can talk freely about wanting to have a strong business but not kill yourself creating it.

What does mentoring look like?
-
I off two kinds of mentoring sessions. The first is a 12 month program where we revamp your business starting with goals, setting actionable steps and then implementing those steps. This type of mentoring is for someone who is really wanting to be intentional with their time and energy as there is work to be done.
The other offering I have is 1:1 on a topic of your choice from the below:
- Pricing full sessions - Can be studio or not
- Mini Session Madness - How to create impactful minis that won't leave you burnt out
