My Journey
Before I was a full-time photographer, I was a commercial real estate agent. That career taught me the business side of things like how to create a seamless client experience and run an operation with care and professionalism. But while I was navigating the corporate world, I always felt the pull to create something more personal, something that was truly my own.
When I became a mom, everything changed. I suddenly understood the overwhelming need to freeze time. The days felt long, but the years were flying by in a blur of tiny hands and first steps. This is what drove me to launch Kristen Beccia Photography in 2011.
I quickly found my calling in family photography because I was living that story myself. I understood the beautiful chaos, the genuine joy, and the fleeting nature of these moments. When I began specializing in posed newborn photography, it felt like I'd found my true purpose. I've been there, holding that tiny, fragile new life, and I know how precious and fleeting those first few weeks are. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and peaceful space where other moms can feel completely at ease, knowing I'll handle every detail to create a memory they'll cherish forever.

For our family, our recent move to Colorado was about finding a place that felt like home. My own journey as a mom has shown me just how important it is to be present and to hold onto the moments that truly matter. That's why I'm so passionate about what I do. I'm not just taking photos; I'm helping other moms and families preserve the beautiful memories that define their story.

What is the No Hustle Sisterhood?
-
It is the coming together of female photographers who want to balance their personal life with their business life. It isn't about putting in the hard work but rather about putting in the hard work with intention. There will be workshops on goal setting, weekly office hours to connect, a place where you can talk freely about wanting to have a strong business but not kill yourself creating it.
